Genesis 3:6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye and desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. What was it that Eve ate? How did it look, smell and taste? Why was Eve attracted to it in the first place? Many think that it was an apple because they have seen a painting of Eve with one in her hand. Could it have been a lemon? And thus, these days, the lemon is so sour because it played in the biggest tragedy in history.
