Jesus has Risen!

In 1 Corinthians 15 Paul goes to great lengths to explain the wonders of the resurrection. You may have heard that 2000 years ago Jesus, who called himself the Messiah, was crucified, beried and then after three days (as the Jews counted days) rose from the dead. Paul tells us that this is fact. Fact that was witnessed by more than 500 people.  These days when almost every fact is questioned, we are forced to put our faith to the test. Do we really believe that Jesus rose or do we not? Of course we believe that Jesus rose from the dead! We'd go so far as to say that this doctrine is the foundation of our faith. If it is, and it is, why would we fear death? What is to fear about death? Is it the pain that might come? Is it the fear of what happens at the moment of death? Or is it the fear of what God will say to us when we step into his presence? Paul spoke of the sting of death.
