Have you ever thought of your life as a Song? Probably not. There seems to be music everywhere these days. Not all of it is good. In fact, much of it is just plain garbage. Even in our Christian circles, despite what some theologians and pastors say, most mainstream “music” is trash. What makes for good music? Well, now there’s a can of worms for you to mull over for the next decade or so. If you want my opinion just drop me a note. If we used the music analogy to describe your life, would it be considered good music or bad? Good music has a theme, is melodious, has a set time and rhythm, and is rewarding to listen to and sing if it has words. You, who are seniors, and actually everyone, are composing a song. This song is called your life. Ask a composer about a piece of music in composition, and you might get varying ideas and comments about how it will turn out. Life is sort of like that too.
